Kripalu Yoga ...

... is an exploration into the relationship between body and mind, invoking calm and cultivating concentration. It harmoniously and simultaneously unites Hatha Yoga (the yoga of physical postures or asanas) and Raja Yoga (the yoga of meditation).

There are many benefits, including:

  • stretching and toning muscles
  • releasing chronic tension
  • improving circulation
  • and energizing and revitalizing the body.

Testimonials

I have  studied yoga with Nancy Moeleart for nearly 11 years, and always find her an inspiring instructor.  Although each class is different, they all have feelings of calm, wisdom, and deep healing.  Nancy has taken my body places, in terms of endurance and flexibility, that I have not expected.  Her teaching of the Moon Salutation with a strong Goddess pose, is one of my favourites.  And just last week we did a slow Earth Salutation, new to me, that was both deeply relaxing, and strongly energizing

Nancy, your  yoga class was great;  I felt deeply connected both during class and after.  My soul was nourished and I felt challenged but not overwhelmed.  I liked the flow of the class and I liked your explanation of the posses and the time allowed for each pose.  I liked what you said about absorbing the energy back into our legs after we did a long balance in tree pose.
